Solutions for heating, curing & drying processes
The Heraeus Amba product range comprises Ultraviolet and Infrared
emitters - both conventional lamps and new drying technologies.
Ultraviolet
Conventional, high intensity, UV lamps are used for the curing
and drying of UV inks, varnishes, coatings, lacquers, and
adhesives. With more than 5,000 different specifications to
choose from, there is an Amba UV lamp designed to suit all
well-known printing machines and UV dryers. Our technical
staff is available to help you with custom-designed lamps
for your particular application plus our technical expertise
is at your disposal for any questions you might have regarding
your lamps. Amba works closely with equipment manufacturers
and customers to ensure that the specifications of our lamps
precisely match their requirements.
With the emphasis firmly on customer service within the printing
and associated industries, staff at our Melbourne and Sydney
locations will be glad to discuss your individual requirements.
Lamps are generally available from stock for immediate delivery
with an average lifetime of 1500hrs.
Reprographic
Metal Halide reprographic lamps for exposing plates, films
and screens are generally available from stock. Metal Halide
lamps are mercury-vapour lamps which have been 'doped' with
metal-halides in order to produce UV output at specific wavelengths
to match the requirements of the application, eg. exposing
coating films and photo-resists used in PCB manufacture. Heraeus
supplies lamps for all reprographics equipment available on
the market and special lamps can be developed at the customer's
request. Users of Heraeus Amba MH lamps benefit from a long
service life, short exposure times and reliable ignition. |
