lamps and Infrared heating elements. Dr Richard Kuech (an
Heraeus employee) produced the first high pressure mercury
(Hg) lamp almost 100 years ago and, today, Heraeus is one
of the few specialists that can supply tailor-made light sources
for the entire scientific and industrial spectrum - from ultraviolet
(UV) to infrared (IR) - for use in printing, industrial processing,
engineering, production, environmental protection (disinfection),
research and SunCare.
Originally known as Amba Lamps, Heraeus Amba Australia is
the leading supplier of UV curing lamps to the Australian
printing industry and has built a solid reputation based on
quality and service. The range of Amba UV curing lamps currently
runs to more than 7,000 different specifications and continues
to grow having produced more than a million UV lamps since
1988.
